We collect only what we need to book, shoot and deliver your photos. We don't sell your personal information. Questions or requests are welcome at team@indyhomephoto.com.
Who we are
Indy Home Photo LLC (“Indy Home Photo”) is a real estate photography business in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this policy, “we” means Indy Home Photo LLC.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, company, phone number and email, and anyone else you ask us to contact about the shoot.
- Property details: the address, the size of the home, whether it has a basement, how we get in (including any lockbox code), your access notes and any shots you ask for.
- Order details: the date, the services, the price, your messages and questions to us.
- Payment status: your card is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Photos we take of the property, and the files we make from them, including your private photo gallery link.
- Basic technical information, such as your IP address, which our hosting provider keeps in routine server logs.
How we use it
- To book, shoot and deliver your photos and to contact you about your order.
- To work out your price, including the distance to the property. Your address is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau's address lookup to find its location.
- To take payment and send receipts, confirmations and reminders.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records, resolve disputes and meet legal duties.
- To keep our site and systems secure.
Who we share it with
We share information only with people and services that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Stripe, which processes payments.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website and booking system and stores our database and photo files.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on our site. Google can see your IP address when your browser loads them.
- The photographers and editors who work on your shoot, who may see your property details and access information for that shoot.
- Authorities or others when the law requires it.
We don't sell your personal information.
Access codes and your property
Lockbox codes and access notes are kept with your order so the assigned photographer can get in. We use them only for your shoot. You can ask us to delete them once your shoot is done, and we suggest changing your lockbox code afterwards.
How long we keep it
We delete the original shoot files and your photo gallery from our storage about 90 days after delivery, unless we keep selected photos for our portfolio as described in our Terms of Service. We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for business, tax and legal purposes.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our team sign-in uses a cookie that is needed to keep staff signed in. Stripe's payment page may set its own cookies. If we add website analytics later, we will update this page.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to team@indyhomephoto.com. We will help unless we need to keep something for legal or tax reasons. If we send you a message about our services, you can opt out at any time by replying to say so. We don't send marketing to customers who ask us not to.
Security
We use reputable providers and sensible safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
